Welcome to the world beautiful Harlee!

The last time I saw Tina and Blake, baby Harlee was just a few days away from arriving. During their maternity session, we focused on Tina's glowing baby bump and the connection this loving couple shared. Their newborn session wasn't much different with our focus being Harlee and on those delicious cheeks and sparkling eyes. Harlee was the star of the show. An initial reschedule meant that Harlee was a little older than most newborn sessions, being almost 10 weeks, but guess what that means? An awake, alert and smiley bubba who was fascinated by the camera and her surroundings.

After arriving at our planned location and finding it unaccessible due to unplanned maintenance (yikes! This is why we arrive nice and early!) we hopped in our cars and drove down to another spot along the Murray river. Another reason to be grateful that we live in Mildura and have so many beautiful locations so close by! Thanks to winter, the location was nice and quiet and a beautiful cloudy evening meant we had the most perfect lighting. While I snapped away, Tina and Blake enjoyed a stroll along the waterfront, stopping to comfort, interact and snuggle with their baby girl. Harlee had a few grumbly moments as all babies do, but nothing that a feed and cuddle in her mum's arms couldn't fix. This also meant we got some beautiful feeding photos and as you all know, those are my favourite!

The session finished up just in time, right before the rain came and we all made a mad rush back to our cars. All in all, a perfect session with a perfect little family!

Thanks again for choosing Rachel Amee Photography.
